Richmond-Adelaide Centre
Toronto, Canada
The Richmond-Adelaide Centre (RAC) is a 1.6 million sq. ft. downtown office complex comprised of five buildings, including 130 Adelaide St. West (Oxford Tower) and 111 Richmond W. RAC is a core asset for Oxford, which is currently undertaking a $65 million redevelopment of 111 Richmond W, a landmark of modernism designed by renowned architect Peter Dickinson.
The initiative is one of several recent reinvestment projects at RAC, including a $40 million redevelopment that saw a major lobby renovation at Oxford Tower and a complete renovation of the PATH-connected retail and food court space. While preserving the integrity of Peter Dickinson's vision, the redevelopment of 111 Richmond W will introduce state-of-the-art technology and bring the building up to LEED Shell and Core standards. The redevelopment will be completed by Fall 2012.
