“Our role is to manage present and future legal and reputational risk in the pursuit of Oxford's strategic objectives.”
As a member of the Oxford executive team, I bring a legal perspective to the development of Oxford’s corporate strategy. The legal and regulatory environment in which we operate is an important perspective to add to the great discussions around Oxford’s strategic goals. In ensuring that the regulatory and legal risks are appropriately identified and managed in the execution of that strategy, it is imperative that we do so in a thoughtful and measured way, while ensuring that the reputation of Oxford and OMERS is not only protected, but enhanced.
The previous phase of my legal experience in real estate, banking, and private equity has prepared me well to support Oxford’s ambitious growth plans. I was most recently President of Great Gulf Homes. Prior to that I was Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at TD Bank Financial Group and a Partner at Torys LLP and Davies Ward Phillips Vineberg LLP.
